Vehicle construction Information

 Auto Parts Information:

Vehicle construction:

Vehicle Construction Refers to how a vehicle is made.

Vehicle are a maze of  interacting mechanical-electrical systems.
Different types of construction require different methods repair frame/unibody part.

In Vehicle construction vehicle must be Light, Aerodynamic, and yet strong and safe.

Vehicle construction relates to the Size, Shape, number of Doors, type of  Roof, and criteria of a motor vehicle.

Vehicle body  is most expensive part of a car. Vehicle body could be the main supporting structure or its particular element. The Vehicle Body of modern car consist of engine sectionsaloon, trunk.

Modular Body Construction For An Electric City Vehicle

An automobile is made up of mainly two units, these are Chassis and Body.

Vehicle body is the main supporting structure of a vehicle, to which all other components are attached. Auto uses a separate frame as chassis.

Construction is basically made off Frame and Chassis.

Different methods used to construct modern vehicles:

(A) Unibody  construction welds major panels together to form for attaching the engine, Drivetrain, suspension, and other parts. this type of construction is commonly used on Cars.

(B) With Body-over-frame construction, a thick gauge steel frame provides the foundation for holding other parts. This type of construction is commonly used on large truck and SUVs (sport utility vehicle).

Major Body Section:

Vehicle is divided into three sections- Front, Center, and Rear.

Front section includes everything between front and fire wall.
  - Also called Nose section, Front clip, "Doghouse".

Center section
or midsection includes body parts that form passenger compartment.
    - Also called a "greenhouse"

Rear section also called a tail section section, rear clip,"cathouse".

Front Section Parts

  • Cowl is near rear of front section, right in front of the windshield.
  • Shock towers or strut towers are reinforced body areas for holding uppers parts of suspension.
  • Dash panel, firewall, or front bulkhead is panel dividing front and center section.
  • Bumpers assembly bolts to front frame horns or rails to absorb minor impacts.

Center Section Parts :
Center section or midsection includes body parts that form passenger compartment.

Floor panel,  tunnel,  pillars,  Front pillar (A-pillars),  Center pillars (B-pillars),  Rear pillars or C-pillars,  Rocker panels or door sills,  windows regulator and  side impact beams  are the parts of center section.

these are the parts of different categories and different working process, which  includes in center section parts.

Rear Section Parts:

Rear section  also called a tail section.
Rear Hatch,Quarter panels, Lower rear panels, Rear shock towers and  Inner wheel are the parts of Rear Section Parts.

WORKSHOP : Precautions || workshop || Safety

What safety precautions should be observed while working in the workshop ? 1) Keep shop floor clean, free from oil and other slippery materials. 2) Wear proper dress and avoid loose clothing and loose hair. 3) Wear shoes and avoid chapels. 4) Avoid playing, loose talk and funning inside the shop floor. 5) Keep good housekeeping and put all unnecessary items and rejected items in scrap box. 6) Learn everything about the machine before starting and clear all the doubts. 7) Keep a safe distance from rotating and sliding parts. 8) Never store inflammable materials inside or around the shop. 9) Never play with electricity, fire, parts with sharp edge etc. 10) Keep fire buckets and extinguishers ready for use.

What is the MAGNETO IGNITION SYSTEM? | WORKING | knowledgeaboutautomobile957

MAGNETO IGNITION SYSTEM Magneto is a special type of ignition system with its own electric generator to provide the necessary energy for the system. It is mounted on the engine and replaces all the components of the coil ignition system except the spark plug. A magneto when rotated by the engine is capable of producing a very high voltage and it does not need a battery as a source of external energy. The high tension magneto incorporates the windings to generate the primary voltage as well as to step up the voltage and thus does not require a separate coil to boost up the voltage required to operate the spark plug. Magneto can be either rotating armature type or rotating magnet type. In the first type, the armature consisting of the primary and secondary windings all rotate between the poles of a stationary magnet. whilst, in the second type the magnet revolves and the windings are kept stationary. A third type of magnet to called the polar inductor type is also in use. In the polar in...
